About Marcus
A key global executive in the HSE profession within the energy and construction sectors for over 30 years. Marcus has led high-performing global teams, with the majority of his career in the energy sector and the last 20 years in the global renewables industry.
With extensive executive experience, Marcus Peters has successfully led change programs, integrations, and cultural initiatives. His strategic vision and leadership drive organizational transformation, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Marcus excels in aligning diverse teams towards common goals, ensuring seamless integration of processes and systems. With an ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver sustainable results, Marcus has been instrumental in achieving operational excellence and enhancing business performance.
Marcus is a Fellow of the International Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the Energy Institute (EI). He has represented organisations on industry groups including G+, Wind Europe, VGB, and Renewable UK After 30 years of leading HSE teams, projects, and operational assets across 21 countries and 4 continents, Marcus has embarked on a new venture: Greensforge Performance Solutions. Marcus' vision for Greensforge is clear and impactful: to create safer, stronger, and higher-performing individuals, teams, and organisations. By focusing on HSE culture, Greensforge aims to transform how HSE risks are understood and managed, empowering clients to achieve excellence in health, safety, and environmental performance. He believes that conversation is the catalyst for change—empowering people, shaping mindsets, and embedding a culture of proactive risk management. Through insightful coaching, strategic risk assurance, and safety-by-design expertise, Marcus can help individuals, teams and organisations make informed HSE decisions, reduce uncertainty, and drive sustainable success. Greensforge Performance Solutions is his new venture to help organisations make that step change in HSE performance. His mission is to equip leaders, individuals and teams with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to navigate risk effectively, turning challenges into opportunities for growth.
